Common Name(s): Prairie Gerardia Scientific Name: Agalinis heterophylia Family: Scrophulariaceae Snapdragon Family Flower: 1" 2-lipped and 5 lobed. Upper lip with two lobes, lower with 3, brown spooted on interior of bowl/funnel shape. Leaves: 1/2-2" upper ones narrow, lower ones cleft. Plant: Up to 3' with red seed capsules

General Comments:

One of many similar species of "Gerardia".

Common Name(s): Unknown 007 Scientific Name: Unknown 007 Family: Scrophulariaceae Snapdragon Family Flower: 1/4" or smaller with four blue-white petals. One petal smaller than others. Distinctive streak pattern leaving small petal almost white. Leaves: 1/2-3/4" opposite ovate leaves with rounded toothed margins Plant: 1/2' with flowers forming between closely packed leaves. flowers very very close to stem.

General Comments:

Similar to Persion Speedwell pictured in WOTHC but has smaller flowers that are less pronounced on plant.

Common Name(s): Unknown 008 Scientific Name: Unknown 008 Family: Scrophulariaceae Snapdragon Family Flower: 3/8" five blue-white petales flower. Petals have a very distinctive strip pattern similar to Persian Speedwell. Flower on stalk. Leaves: 1/2" hairy opposite ovate leaves with rounded toothed margins. Plant: 6 -8" tall. flowers form on stalks between closely packed leaves.

General Comments:

Very similar to the Persian Speedwell pictured in WOTHC but with five petals instead of the four characteristic of the Veronica genus.
