Flower:
1" white flowers with 3 sepals and 3 petals identical in size and color. A purple vein is centered on the back of each petal/sepal. Flowers grow in an umbel like cluster which emerges from a papery bract.
Leaves:
Grass like, to about 16"
Plant:
Grows from a bulb similar to a onion.
General Comments:
Flowers profusely early in the year but is evident all year in Houston.
