One of the many species of clover introduced from abroad.

Common Name(s): Amberique Bean Scientific Name: Strophostyles helvula Family: Fabaceae Pea Family Flower: 1/2" pink flower often in clusters. Keel petals sickle shaped. Leaves: Divided into 3 leaflets. Each leaflet egg shaped or 3 lobed. Plant: Trailing vine.

General Comments:

Formerly known as S. helvola which inidicates that the flower is light yellow. This name is believed to be a misspelling that wasn't corrected until recently.
