Here are some of the original knitting, sewing, and assorted craft projects I have completed over the years. I have worked on many other projects as well, these are just some of the ones I designed myself.
1988: In High school I made this pillow and parrot for fun.(Picture under construction)
Christmas 1994: This is a tensegrity that Steve and
I made for my dad. The four interlocking triangles are made of wooden
dowels and held together with fishing line. The vertives of the
triangles form the corners of a cuboctohedron (a cube with its
corners cut off so that the points meet in the center of each edge).
These triangles don't touch each other.

Christmas 1995: For my mom I made this raglan sleeve
sweater with a design based on a fisherman's net design in a book.
Christmas
1995: For my dad I made a reversible vest in burgundy and gray
heather with a design inspired by designs in the book "Fancy Feet".
It was done with a double sided knit so it is fully reversible.

Christmas 1996: I made a Mobius strip scarf with a
double sided reversible design for Sue Ludtke, my mother in Law. The
purple band is looped around the pink on both ends but there is only
one knot on the scarf.
Christmas 1996: Steve and I made another tensegrity for Joe and Caroline(his aunt). This one consisted of siz interlocking squares.
For Christmas 1996 I also knit several cotton coasters and hot pads which were based on designs in the "Knitting Counterpanes" book. I also started on a afghan based on designs from that book.

May 1997: A cardigan for myself. I originally
planned for a dragon scales design but wanted something lighter and
lacy so I made this pattern. Steve thinks it looks like hearts which
is nice too.
In Progress, An original quilt design featuring a
maze as well as numerous other projects in various states of
completion. Isn't that always the case though.
Christmas 1997: A sweater for my Sister in Law Heather. I knit this on
a Cheap Knitting machine. The Acrylic Yarn wasn't as nice as cotton but
the machine couldn't handle the unstrechable cotton. I would have hand
knit it but my hands couldn't handle it at the time.
Christmas 1998: A Gernsey Sweater for my Uncle David. Here is a close
up on the Initials, the
Neck and Sleeve, and the
gusset.
The design in an original knit in Wool Ease yarn.
In addition to the work shown here I have also enjoyed knitting lace doily's and a lace table cloth from the books "Modern Lace Knitting" and it's sequel.
